My story isn’t different. It isn’t unique. But, it’s mine and about a year ago, I changed my trajectory and jumped on the train of intuitive eating. Nervous, excited, and a bit skeptical, I dove in head first trying to soak up everything I could as quickly as I could. My first go at learning about intuitive eating didn’t go so well. When I found a new health coach, one that broke it down my style, I was hooked. And it was working.

Intuitive eating is a practice derived from the “Health at Every Size” research and is an approach to heal side effects of chronic dieting and restrictive eating. An intuitive eater is defined as a person who “makes food choices without experiencing guilt or an ethical dilemma, honors hunger, respects fullness, and enjoys the pleasure of eating.”

Sound like you? Probably not. It didn’t sound like me a year ago either.
